Travel & Excursions
Ourika Valley: located just 30 km from Marrakech, this charming valley rushes into the High Atlas with a small river lined with "beaches" of greenery. An appreciated escape for inhabitants of Marrakech.
Ouzoud: its waterfalls, over 100 meters high, are one of the most remarkable natural attractions in Moroccan Atlas. Among the olive trees, this route offers closer and closer points of view on the falls.
Essaouira: a small and windy seaside town on the Atlantic coast, equipped with walls that divide the old city into several districts. It surprises with its calm mood and small straight streets. It was once a meeting place for hippies: also Jimy Hendrix lived here.
Ouarzazate: on a secondary road, the fortified village of the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is classified as “universal heritage” by UNESCO. Partially restored, this fortress hits the soul with its great beauty. Atlas Film Studios are located 5 km from Ouarzazate: movies by world-famous directors (such as Oliver Stone, Ridley Scott and Martin Scorsese) were recorded here.
Three Valleys: 4x4 tour climbing to the village of Moulay Brahim, crossing the Kik Plateau, discovering the Middle Atlas by old mountain tracks that lead to the Asni Valley. After the Lalla Takerkoust dam, the road passes through Berber villages for 30 km on the mountainside of Marrakech.
